Planetary Bodies

They say I am like the sun,

Bright and full of fire

Planetary objects fall into my orbit

Round and round me, spin

Closer, closer drawing in

Until I expand enough to absorb it

But really I am a comet,

Cold and full of ice,

Unbothered, unheeding, and unrushed

Traveling frozen, through the void

Searching for a lonely planetoid

Waiting to be crushed
